Honest context
A few hundred dollars of retail strands plus a ladder is genuinely cheaper in year one. What you're buying instead is nobody in your family on a roof, lights that survive a full North Florida season, and a design cut to your architecture rather than stretched to fit. When a section goes dark in the middle of December, someone else fixes it — and in January your garage stays empty.
